Spring Essentials

When the pollen starts to fall and the house is full of stuffy noses and tickled throats, I know that spring is in the air. We have started pulling out our bikinis, park days are becoming more frequent and pastels are flooding our closets. As we transition from winter to spring, there are a few things that are essential for your closet.

My favorite time about spring is only having to wear one article of clothing, lol. Bye bye pants and hello rompers & dresses! I think it’s super important to have some go-to, flirty pieces for springtime that are simple to throw on after a beach day or for a girl’s brunch. Almost as important as it is to carry around Zyrtec in your bag.

As much as it saddens me to say this, it’s time to put away our leather jackets… However, with spring comes cooler evenings so something to coverup is still necessary. Ditch the cardigan and go with a denim jacket. Denim gives your girly dresses a little bit of edge.

A neutral bag is something I believe is essential all year-round. It’s something you buy once and keep forever, so definitely invest! However, one of my favorite trends has been the straw bags. They can spring up any look!

Lastly, if you know me personally, you know I HATE flip flops. I think every woman needs a fun sandal in their closet. A pair they know they can wear to the pool, to brunch, or even on a grocery run. (I’m serious when I tell you I despise flip flops, lol.)

A few other necessities to have this spring are a cute pair of sunnies, a good spray tan, and lots of bubbly! What’s your spring essential?
