4th of July Inspo

The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. When I was younger it meant a week full of festivities out at the beach with my family and now that I have a family of my own, it’s time to create our own traditions and memories! We have a weekend full of events leading up to the actual 4th which means lots of opportunities for Mama & Me outfits. (Because that’s what it’s all about, right?)

The Week Of

Everyone knows the 4th of July is a week long event. You start the celebrations days prior and fireworks go off every night for at least 5 days following. Begin your festivities in a subtle, comfortable denim t-shirt dress with espadrilles and keep your babe cool in a flowy chambray dress and our go-to faves, Freshly Picked, moccasins. Throw a couple red accents into each of your styles to show your American pride.

Beach Day

It might just be us Floridians, but the 4th of July calls for the beach, Piña Coladas, and cute babes in bikinis. How adorable is the blue ruffled one piece?! And you all know I’ll find any excuse to match my tot, so obviously Mama & Me Ray bans are going to be a thing.

Backyard BBQ

What’s 4th of July, actually summer in general, without a fun family BBQ! Have Dad join in on the fun and force him to match you and your babe too, hehe. Gingham for everyone!

For the finale, comfort is key. So is making sure you’re in red, white, and blue. But ditch your american flag t-shirt this year and go with something more chic and obviously matching with your mini.

Happy 4th!
