Springin’ in Freshly Picked

As we approach Chandler’s 1st birthday, I can’t help reflect back to these past 2 years I’ve had with her– starting with her in my belly.

After I cried on FaceTime with Chase as the doctor told us we were having a girl I rushed to the mall with my mom to start building up her closet. The first purchase I made was a pair of crib moccs by Freshly Picked– her first shoes. I know I sound lame getting all sentimental about my daughter’s first pair of shoes, but seeing her now standing and walking in those same shoes just hits me hard. They were the shoes she wore right out of the womb, the shoes she wore on her first day of school, the only pair of shoes she doesn’t know how to take off, and the shoes she’s learning to walk in.

As much as I love watching my baby grow and become more curious and more knowledgeable about the world around her, I can’t help but wish she would stay my tiny girl forever. Seeing the footprints form on the bottom of her moccasins as she learns to walk makes me emotional every night I take them off her feet and put them back in her closet. So thank you, Freshly Picked, for being there since day 1.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Freshly Picked, they are genuine leather moccasins for you little ones from birth to size 7. They are seriously the only shoes that, not only fit Chandler’s chubby feet, but also stay on all day. With their soft soles, they are perfect shoes for learning to walk and practicing balancing on their own. My favorite part about them is that they are not only a shoe, but a memory. Your babes footprint will start to form as they start to walk in them. I know when I look back in a few years, I will be so thankful to have these memories and awe over her tiny feet.

Head over to Freshly Picked to see all the fun colors and styles they have available. Chandler is wearing the color Spring Orchid. Also, stay tuned on my Instagram later this week for a Freshly Picked giveaway!
