Hi Everyone!

Hi everyone, I’m Ali! I am a 23-year-old Mama to an adorable little girl, Chandler, and a lover and supporter of her Daddy, Chase. I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida where my family and I still live– we just can’t seem to find a good enough reason to leave! Since graduating from the University of South Florida in 2015, a lot has happened. Chase returned home from a 9 month deployment to Afghanistan, 2 weeks after that I gave birth to our daughter, then a month later we moved into our first home, and since then we’ve been non stop!

I wanted to start a blog for all the mamas out there who like to do things a little different. I know as a millennial, we tend to do things our own way and being a mom shouldn’t be any different for us! We have our mamas, and their mamas, and other mamas always telling us how things should be done and while we should be thankful for advice, we have to remember: every child is different, so every mom is too! Everyone knows your life dramatically changes when you have a child, but that doesn’t mean your life has to be over. In fact, it’s as if your life has just begun! You don’t have to stop doing the things you love like brunching with your girlfriends, going to your favorite spin class, or taking a date night. Don’t believe me? Stick around and read along as I show you.

Thanks for taking your time to check out my blog and stay tuned for upcoming posts!

XO Ali

  2. Being a 69 year-old Baby Boomer, that was raised during a more conservative time with more traditional attitudes toward life, I would welcome your insight on the generation you grew up in, and are carving for yourself as an adult single Mother, and independent partner. I have certainly had my own opinions toward millineals and even the generation Xers (of which my 43 year-old daughter is a member), mostly from the negative role models I have seen and heard about, to be honest (of which my daughter did not completely follow. She married, had two children, and will celebrate their 15th year anniversary this month. However, she and her husband have their own ideas of how to parent, and relate as a married couple and family. They are I guess, middle-if-the-road, or maybe moderate. They are not traditional (by my standards), but are not out there either, as totally liberal in all things in their lifestyle. I will look forward to “learning” a lot about a new way of doing things in this new age. Thank you, and the best to you and your family, as you go through life.
